   I have very thick, naturally curly hair that I straighten and I've finally found the best flat iron. I have bought 3 flat irons over the last few years and all 3 flat irons lost heat or pulled my hair or caused frizz or didn't get hot enough for my thick hair but this flat iron doesn't have any of these issues. It has easy to use temperature control, it glides through my hair without pulling or snagging, the 1 1/4 inch width is the perfect size and it reaches a hot enough heat that flattens my hair with a beautiful gloss and no noticeable frizz. It's comfortable to hold and it has a rotating cord with a Velcro cord band. I hope this flat iron continues to perform but so far I am very happy with this flat iron. It may be a little more expensive than other flat irons but if you have thick hair and need a high performing flat iron, this is it.

   I straightened all my hair in about 10 minutes and my hair is to the bottom of my spine! Its got great features for temp control. It heated up super fast. Less than a minute. It was super easy to use to curl my hair and the curls were really defined.

   I am an african american woman that periodically does my own hair. I purchased this flat iron at the beginning of the Covid-19 lock down. The first time I used it my hair was just as straight as when I get my hair professionally done. I was able to get close to edges and scalp without burning myself. And it straightens with just one pass through! I'm still working on creating curly styles and different looks, however each time I use the flat iron I am pleasantly pleased. I don't have to use much heat as with my previous iron. It heats up very fast and I love the memory heating option. I would highly recommend this flat iron.
